We are offering mixed bundles of 6x hydrangea plants delivered across Christchurch and surrounding areas.
Hydrangea plants are a mix of 1-2 year old plants that wait in the wings to replace any older plants in our hydrangea fields. They are unlabelled and we can’t guarantee varieties, you are buying a ‘lucky dip’. of six plants. These plants are all excellent varieties for cutting or for garden enjoyment. We are happy to help you identify varieties when they are blooming.
Please note that the pH in potting mix turns all flowers pink or pink/ purple toned. The colour may change once in your garden depending on the pH of your own soil. In example a soft pink flower on your potted hydrangea may become soft blue once settled in the ground at home.
Hydrangea plants prefer a shady spot, they also require regular watering, especially while they are settling in to their new homes.
These plants will establish quickly once in your garden. Some have flowers on them now, some are just foliage but should flower in your garden this summer. On developing plants it is encouraged to remove flower heads to allow the plants more energy for overall plant growth.
